Time clock is a free add-on but has to be activated by our support, so please contact us and we will happily do it.
Your time clock settings can be found by clicking on ⚙️ > Time clock under Add-ons
At the top you will find the link to your time clock. This is the link your users have to access in order to clock in and out.
Here you will find a list of units, approved by managers or owners, for clocking in and out.
In order to approve a unit, someone with Manager or Owner role has to log in with their Timezynk account to that unit and on this page approve it. All employees must then use the approved unit to clock in and out. You may add multiple units.
If you do not specify any unit, all units will be allowed and your employees will be able to clock in and out from any unit they choose.
- Punch in/out according to schedule: Set whether to show or hide the button to clock in/out according to the schedule. If the button is shown your users can click on it at any time and report that they have worked during the time specified in the shift.
- Deviation interval for punch in/out: Set how flexible you are with start and end times. As long as your user clocks in/out during these times no deviation reports will be created.
- Mandatory fields in case of deviation: Should your user clock in/out outside of your approved times, a deviation report is created. This is where you can add mandatory fields for the user to fill in.
